Ryaz Shariff, CFA

Principal and Portfolio Manager

 

Mr. Shariff, founder of Primevest Capital Corp., has managed the Primevestfund since inception in 2005. Previously he spent eight years developing and operating a number of businesses including plastics manufacturing, telecommunications, aviation and alternative power generation. Mr. Shariff started his career with national investment brokerage firms in the capacity of sales and investment banking. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) degree and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Christopher Cumming, CFA

Principal and Portfolio Manager

 

Mr. Cumming has managed the Primevest Partners Fund since inception. Mr. Cumming spent 16 years as Analyst, Portfolio Manager and Vice President at one of Canada's largest and most respected investment management firms, where he was a key member of the Canadian Equity team collectively managing a portfolio in excess of $10Bln. Mr. Cumming holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree, the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a Lesley Wong Fellow as a graduate of the UBC Portfolio Management Foundation program.
